Go view street art all over the world
Redbull have recently created a super street art experience whereby you are able to view street art all around the world using Google Street view. I have tried to locate the Faith 47 piece down the road from CPUT but alas, Google Maps are a tad outdated. Lets hope they update sooner than now buddy!

Greetings readers and welcome.
The three Photoshop tuts below are from vimeo and contributions by Round Moon Creativity - big up to them. Vimeo is similar to YouTube and carries great design related videos. Take a mouse click toward their site and start your creative engine - insert your vimeo key here.
Please comment on the posts you read here at knowtoneed. I am trying to up the readership in order to entice suppliers to big up some prizes like iPods(what else!) to readers and comments. So come on "praat met ons 'seblief!'
Catch you all on the flip side

Home and Away: A Return To The South
For the last five years the Ifa Lethu Foundation has been instrumental in repatriating South African art that was produced during the apartheid years but which found its way overseas due to the fact that there was no market for the work of black South African artists in the country at the time.
The exhibition 'Home and Away: A Return To The South' explores this previously lost artistic heritage alongside the Art Against Apartheid collection. The show examines the similarities and differences between works produced by South African artists experiencing the oppression of apartheid and those from beyond our shores who created works in support of the struggle. Although produced from different perspectives, the two collections are united in their focus on human rights.

Fluid Dresses And Other Casual Profanities
Fluid Dress from Charlie Bucket on Vimeo.
[Charlie Bucket] is developing a personal look towards materials: pumping fluids in tubes to change objects’ (and cloths’, as you see in the video) substance and feeling. Magic-like.
The installation is based on openFrameworks, and uses 6 arduino-driven pumps to make the fluid flowing through the tubes. Very interesting fabrication pictures on Flickr.
